AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for a CentOS 9 ARM virtual machine hardened to DISA STIG standards. Pricing is not tiered by features. Instead, each dimension maps to a specific AWS ARM-based (Graviton) EC2 instance type, such as general-purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, and high-performance families. Your rate depends on the instance type you choose, which sets the CPU, memory, and storage. Larger sizes within a family cost more per hour. You are billed only for hours the instance runs, with no upfront commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit map to for billing?
Each unit is one running instance-hour of the hardened CentOS 9 ARM virtual machine on a chosen AWS Graviton EC2 instance type. The instance type sets CPU, memory, and storage. You are billed for each hour, or partial hour, the instance runs. Multiple running instances each accrue their own hourly charge.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or paused?
The software fee meters running hours only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue this hourly software charge. Underlying AWS storage for the volume may still bill separately while the instance is stopped. To halt software charges, stop or terminate the instance.
Does support come included with the hourly rate, or is it separate?
The vendor provides on-demand support through email, phone, and chat, aiming to respond within 24 hours. A more intense support service is available for customers needing faster response times and higher priority. Contact the vendor directly to arrange that added support level.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
