You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Once the instance is running, connect to it via OS user "ec2-user". After login to the OS switch to "root" user by executing: "sudo su", change 2 config file with the EC2 ip address under following directory: /software/maicongsoftware_3.7.1/

    1. Change the config file "/software/maicongsoftware_3.7.1/config/maicong.yaml"
    • "virtualIP: http://localhost:8080 " to your EC2 actual IP and the port you want
    • "server.port: 8080" to the port you want
    • "master.datasource.url: jdbc:postgresql://localhost:5432/maicong" to your EC2 actual IP
    1. Change the config file "/software/maicongsoftware_3.7.1/static/config.js"
    1. Confirm the java environment by executing following command
    • execute: "source /etc/profile"
    • execute: "java -version", make sure java can be used.
    1. After config file been changed, go to "/software/maicongsoftware_3.7.1/"
    • execute: "chmod + maicong-dass.sh"
    • execute: "./maicong-daas.sh start"
    1. Access the application via http://<EC2 ip>:<port>
    • Entering the user as "admin", password as your preferred password. After the first time set password, it will be your future admin user and password.
