Overview
This professional service helps financial services organisations achieve specific outcomes related to the adoption and management of their AWS Cloud by migrating and operating trading platforms, market-data systems, and financial infrastructure using Amazon EC2 placement groups, AWS Direct Connect, Amazon Route 53, AWS Transit Gateway, and Amazon CloudWatch. Trading platform migrations — including MT4, MT5, matching engines, pricing and risk systems, and market-data infrastructure — are delivered with latency benchmarking against the current environment, Amazon EC2 placement group and Dedicated Host strategy for lowest-latency execution, AWS Direct Connect or AWS VPN for market-data feed connectivity, and cutover plans sequenced around trading session windows so production trading is never interrupted. Network security is reinforced using Fortinet FortiGate VM Next-Generation Firewall and VM-Series Next-Gen Virtual Firewall with Advanced Security Subscriptions, both available on AWS Marketplace, deployed behind AWS Transit Gateway for centralised network inspection and policy enforcement.
Business continuity and disaster recovery are delivered as pilot-light or warm-standby configurations using AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (DRS), with recovery point objectives and recovery time objectives mapped to regulatory obligations, rehearsed failover runbooks documented to the granularity compliance teams require, and scheduled DR drills that produce the evidence necessary for regulatory review. Virtual desktop infrastructure for distributed trading and analytics teams is delivered using Amazon WorkSpaces and Amazon WorkSpaces Core — covering image and profile management, latency-based AWS region selection, and GPU-backed Amazon EC2 instance configurations for graphics-intensive analytics workloads. AWS Backup is configured across the estate to meet financial services data retention requirements, and AWS CloudTrail provides the complete audit trail required for regulatory reporting.
Customers using this service are responsible for AWS infrastructure costs incurred in their AWS accounts — including Amazon EC2, AWS Direct Connect, Amazon WorkSpaces, AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery, Amazon S3, and related services — separately from the service fee transacted through AWS Marketplace. This service is delivered for brokers, proprietary trading firms, fintech platforms, and financial market infrastructure providers across ANZ and APAC, with a delivery track record spanning over 1,000-server trading estates and managed operations for more than 15 financial firms.
