What do you like best about the product?
I really like Float.com's UI/UX because it's easy to navigate and user-friendly. It makes handling everything much easier. I also find the review and cost reports very helpful, especially for project costs and time recording. The developer API is great too; it's straightforward and easy to integrate with other applications. Generating and extracting reports is simple, which is a huge plus for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, I would say the currency in terms of our cost rates for people is a limitation. I know Float.com is just starting to implement this feature, but I believe it's still in beta and that's a current limitation we're having.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float.com simplifies resource management by providing easy time recording for all users, including external ones. Its user-friendly UI makes navigation effortless, while the API allows straightforward integration. Generating project cost reports is easier, enhancing productivity.

Effective for Team Resourcing, Needs Better Project Splitting

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see a quick overview of what everyone's working on and the different options available for managing situations like when someone is off sick or has paid time off. It's quite easy to move chunks of time around from one week to the other, which is helpful for managing resources for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some of the ways that I've had a project on are a little bit clunky sometimes, so I wish there was a quick way to split. If I've made a chunk of a project, like a long project for a month of someone's time, it's quick for me to just add it in from the first of the month to the end. I wish there was a way that I could automatically split those into days. You can at the moment, but you have to click on each day to then split it one at a time. I think having an option where in one click, it divides up this chunkier booking into smaller chunks that I can then maneuver would be helpful. It would be more helpful if there was an easier way to quickly split a big chunk of time up into smaller chunks to then be able to manage the resource.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Float.com to visualize project placements and manage team resources. It helps me see who has capacity by summarizing workloads. I like the quick overview of tasks and options for handling absences, which assists in managing team time effectively.
