Job postings are provided as gzip-compressed JSON Lines files named techmap_jobs_uk_YYYY-MM-DD.jsonl.gz, one file per day and one posting per JSON line. Need CSV, XML, RSS, Atom or Parquet instead? Our conversion guide has ready-to-use code in JavaScript, Python, Java and bash.
Job postings are public job offerings - the roles, skills, locations and salaries companies hire for. That makes them an early business signal:
Sales Intelligence - companies posting job offerings for roles your product supports are warm leads.
Competitive Intelligence - your competitors' job offerings show which roles, skills and locations they invest in - new products, expansions or cutbacks before they are announced.
Market Intelligence - measure hiring demand by industry, region or skill to spot trends early.
Recruitment Intelligence - benchmark salaries, required skills and talent demand.
Historical Benchmarking - measure how hiring evolved over time, train or backtest models, or set a baseline before starting an ongoing feed.
Historical coverage: January 1, 2020 through your subscription date - fixed at signup, not extended afterward
Update frequency: None after signup - this is a historical archive
Delivery: Amazon S3 data access (AWS Data Exchange), delivered once
File size: ~50 MB (gzip) per file on average, up to ~1 GB in rare cases

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.

This listing is sold through a single pricing dimension, Product Access (Units), billed as a one-time contract purchase. You buy the complete historical archive of UK job postings dating back to January 2020. The dataset is delivered through AWS Data Exchange, with files appearing automatically in an S3 bucket tied to your AWS account. Pricing covers all postings for the country in one purchase, not a per-job or filtered amount. Because this is a one-time dataset rather than a recurring subscription, you pay once for access rather than on an ongoing monthly basis.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What exactly does one Product Access unit grant for the UK historical dataset?
One unit grants access to the complete archive of UK job postings from January 2020 to the present. Files arrive as gzip-compressed JSON Lines, one file per country per day. You receive every posting collected for the UK — not a filtered subset. You apply your own filters by industry, company, or occupation in your pipeline.
Does my cost change based on how many job postings the UK dataset contains?
No. You pay once for the full UK archive, and there is no per-job charge. The price reflects the country's posting volume at listing creation, but your purchase price does not shift as you download more records. Postings include flagged duplicates, which you can filter yourself in your pipeline.
Is this a one-time purchase or a recurring subscription, and what does that mean for ongoing data?
This is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription. You pay once for the historical archive back to January 2020. It is the only way to access data older than 3 months. The dataset does not automatically keep adding new postings on a billed monthly cycle like a rolling feed would.
