Overview
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for system integration, Jupyter application dependency management, and AMI Marketplace security compliance. This Ubuntu 21.3 Mint Desktop workstation (server) features our TLC Windows look-alike 'WinTwin' icon styling and convenient RDP access, which works well for both Windows and Linux based access. The installed JupyterHub web server allows remote HTTP access if you do not want or need the full Desktop environment. The Jupyter application is designed for creating and sharing documents containing live code, equations, visualizations, and narrative text. Provides an excellent environment for experimenting with LLMs due to its interactive nature. It is built on python3.10, and has a dozen ML/AI related libraries configured for GPU compatibility and interoperable functionality, including pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, scikit-learn, tensorflow, keras, torch, nltk, opencv-python, xgboost, lightgbm, and tpot. The AMI will save you and your team days or weeks (and time is money) in having to build, style and trouble-shoot such a workstation yourself.

- Launch your AMI ensuring you enable Public IP address and your security group allows RDP on port 3389. Note the Public IP address assigned to your instance AND your instance ID
- Please WAIT 10 to15 minutes after the instance Status Check shows 3/3 checks passed for the OS to finish updating, which will enable the log in screen service (xrdp).
- AFTER WAITING as described above, launch your RDP client. Instructions may differ depending on client OS. On Windows:
a. Search for Program or File
b. Type in the words 'Remote Desktop' and press enter.
c. Select the Remote Desktop Connection application in the search results
d. In your RDP client window, enter the IP address noted in Step 1
e. Press 'Connect' Button. You may get warning: 'The identity of the remote
computer connection cannot be verified', click the Yes button to continue - On the Xrdp log in screen that appears, leave the first box as-is, it should say 'Xorg'.
