One work graph that humans and AI agents operate as peers, structured enough for machines to read and reason over, humane enough for people to live in, and running wherever the work must live
It unifies projects, knowledge, and service so context no longer scatters across tools that split humans and constrain agents. Agents operate the same graph through a REST API and an official MCP Server, with their own identity, permissions, and audit trail, so every action is attributable and on the record.
Intelligence runs where the work lives. Bring your own models and keep AI inside your perimeter.
And it never coerces deployment. Cloud, self-hosted, or fully air-gapped, Plane's Commercial Edition runs without feature or data sovereignty trade-offs.
Project management, run as infrastructure you control
Plane is trusted by 50,000+ teams in 63 countries, including teams in defense, aerospace, and finance. More than 10,000 companies have switched from tools like Jira, Linear, and ClickUp.
Highlights
Wiki is bundled.
Plane Wiki + Pages sits under the same license as Projects, so the separate knowledge-base line item disappears entirely.
AI comes with the seat.
Every paid seat includes full Plane AI. On Enterprise Grid it is unmetered, with ten agents per seat, no credit packs, and no overages. At 2,000 seats, for example, that is 20,000 agents included. Plane Cloud includes an AI credit allowance with each plan.
Deployment never costs you features.
Plane Cloud, self-hosted, and fully air-gapped all run the same Commercial Edition at full parity, with rolling zero-downtime upgrades and releases every two weeks. Enterprise Grid adds LDAP, Group Sync, SCIM, Granular Access Controls, workspace isolation, Plane Runner, and audit log streaming.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses per-seat pricing on a contract basis. You start with a minimum commitment of 10 Business seats. That base block sets your starting size. To grow, you add seats one at a time above the initial 10 using the additional seat dimension. Each added seat is billed at the same per-seat rate, so your cost scales directly with team size. The two dimensions work together: one establishes the required minimum, and the other lets you expand in increments of one seat as more team members need access.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one seat for billing purposes?
A seat is one Admin or Member account in your workspace. Guests do not count as billed seats. You pay only for Admins and Members, and each person needing edit access takes one seat. Your minimum starts at 10 seats.
What happens to my cost when I add team members above the initial 10 seats?
You add seats one at a time using the additional seat dimension. Each added seat bills at the same per-seat rate as the base block. Cost rises by one seat's rate per person added, so your bill scales directly with headcount above 10.
Are guest users included, or do they require paid seats?
Guests are free. You get 5 guests for each paid seat. Guests can see everything or just their assigned work items in a project. They do not consume a billed seat, so external collaborators do not increase your seat count.

Moderne makes AI coding agents fast, accurate, and cost-effective at enterprise scale - driving deterministic code change across thousands of repositories. The platform sequences your codebase into compiler-accurate, machine-readable data (the Lossless Semantic Tree) so agents act on exact code structure instead of guessing at text: migrating frameworks, remediating vulnerabilities, and retiring technical debt in a single pass, with engineer sign-off and full audit trails. Built on OpenRewrite.
