No. The hourly rate is tied only to the instance size you run. Every appliance includes unlimited data rates with no per-GB charges, no ingestion caps, and no overage fees. To handle more throughput, you move to a larger instance size or add appliances.
Software charges meter running instance-hours only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue hourly software charges. Underlying AWS storage fees may still apply while the instance is stopped. To scale down cost, you can run a smaller instance size when workload drops.
