Offers end of day prices for equities and ETFs trading on North American exchanges. In addition to closing prices, the data includes open, high, low, volume, and simple corporate actions data such as dividend amounts and split ratio for the securities. This data set is for trial purposes only and may not be stored or redistributed.
If you require historical prices for global exchanges or longer history, XigniteGlobalHistorical API provides open, high, low, volume, VWAP, TWAP and other market statistics going back to 1/1/1994 for US exchanges and 1/1/2000 for most international exchanges. The API also provides automatic stitching for identifier changes resulting from corporate action events such as symbol change or CUSIP change. The API solution lets you request corporate action adjusted historical prices for events such as splits, cash dividends, stock distributions, bonus shares, scrips and spinoffs.

- Symbol: Ticker symbol for the security
- Exchange: Exchange MIC identifier
- Currency: Trading currency code
- Open: Opening price for the day
- High: High price for the day
- Low: Low price for the day
- Last: Last price for the day
- Volume: Trading volume for the day
- Split Ratio: Ratio of new number of shares to old on the effective date
- Cash Dividend: Cash dividend amount on the ex-dividend date
- Dividend Currency: Currency for the cash dividend
Dataset Specification
- This dataset contains daily EOD prices starting from 11/01/2019 for each of the North American exchanges and will have daily updates.
- The EOD prices dataset will be updated at 6:30 PM EST (U.S Eastern Standard Time).
- Each EOD price update will create a new revision containing one asset per day, including weekends and holidays.
- The asset name will be in the following format: report/yyyy/mm/dd/Equities_exchange_MIC_yyyymmdd.csv. For example, on 11/11/2019 the NASDAQ exchange EOD asset will be report/2019/11/11/Equities_XNAS_20191111.csv
