Overview
The Harbr platform brings people, tools, and data together - across boundaries and at scale. The platform can be deployed on AWS or other cloud platforms, or on a company's own infrastructure. Each Harbr platform is set up as a standalone deployment with the owner's branding. Organizations use their Harbr platforms to connect, share, collaborate on, and distribute data assets and products.
Harbr's flexible yet robust architecture allows its customers to run their platform in the way that best serves their needs. Some Harbr customers use their platform as a private storefront to sell their own data products to their customers. For example, Moody's DataHub, the flagship data commerce offering of Moody's Analytics, is built on Harbr and runs on AWS.
Other organizations use their Harbr platform as an internal data exchange, allowing a wide range of stakeholders across the business to securely share and collaborate on data. Aboitiz Group, a conglomerate with revenues over $3.9 billion, uses its Harbr platform to facilitate collaboration on data science initiatives across the family of companies.
Harbr enables the following at scale:
Discoverability. Harbr allows users to see every data asset available to them, regardless of where those assets are located or how they were shared. Additionally, Harbr data exchanges make data products easily discoverable in the exchange. The user experience is as easy as browsing any online store. Data vendors benefit from increased upsell and cross-sell. Company's using their platform to share data benefit from increased visibility and shareability of valuable data assets.
Customization. Most data products need to be customized before their value can be maximized. With Harbr, customization takes place in secure workspaces with industry-standard tooling, keeping data safe and private, and allowing users to collaborate to get to the right solution.
Delivery. Harbr reduces costs associated with delivering data, allowing you to serve data consumers in a wide range of formats and locations. Self-service workflows and automated delivery provide scalable distribution in any format to any location.
