Overview
Kyndryl Agentic IT Management – SRE Assist is a next-generation AI-driven solution designed to streamline and accelerate incident resolution for Site Reliability Engineers (SREs). In traditional environments, SREs must manually determine which tools to use, analyze logs, check component availability, and execute scripts—tasks that are time-consuming and error-prone.
This solution transforms that process by introducing a system of collaborating AI agents that automate initial planning, probing, and remediation steps. The SRE initiates a conversation with the AI Assist by providing an incident number. The agents then use application runbooks, perform health checks, query system status, and apply remediation actions as needed. All interactions and actions are logged against the incident for traceability.
Built entirely on AWS, the solution leverages:
- Amazon Bedrock for deploying foundation models that power the reasoning and dialogue capabilities of the agents.
- Amazon OpenSearch for real-time log analysis and anomaly detection.
- Vector DB for storing and retrieving contextual embeddings from runbooks and historical incidents.
- AWS Lambda for executing serverless logic and orchestrating agent workflows.
- Support Automation Workflow (SAW) for automating operational tasks and remediation actions.
This architecture ensures scalability, resilience, and seamless integration with AWS-native observability and incident management tools.
