Aware Lens is an ADA Title II and WCAG 2.1 AA compliant public meeting video platform for local governments, school boards, and public agencies. It adds civic-tuned captions, real-time live captioning, audio description, searchable transcripts, AI meeting summaries, and 8-language translation to every meeting, with most agencies live on an accessible resident portal within 1-3 business days.
Aware Lens helps public entities meet the 2024 DOJ ADA Title II rule, which requires WCAG 2.1 Level AA for web content, including meeting video, by April 26, 2027 (entities serving 50,000+) and April 26, 2028 (smaller entities and special districts). Connect YouTube, Zoom, direct uploads, or a bulk archive, and Aware Lens automatically remediates your meetings and publishes them to a WCAG 2.1 AA conformant resident portal with an audit trail. Most agencies are live within 1-3 business days, with no RFP, consultants, or AV crew.

Live Streaming is a separate annual plan sized by stream hours, with per-hour overage. Archive Migration and Onboarding are one-time charges you add as needed.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one video in my annual plan allotment?
One video is a single recorded meeting that gets processed and published. Processing adds captions, audio description, a transcript, and hosting on the accessible player. Plus plans also add AI summaries and document search. Each published meeting counts as one video against your yearly allotment.
What happens if I publish more videos or stream more hours than my plan includes?
Each video beyond your annual allotment bills under the Additional video dimension. Each live stream hour beyond your Live Streaming plan bills under the Additional stream hour dimension. These charges apply per unit over the included amount, so cost grows only with the extra usage.
How do the subscription plans, Live Streaming, and modules combine on my bill?
They bill independently and add together. You pick one Aware Lens Plus or Basic plan sized by videos. Live Streaming is a separate annual plan sized by stream hours. Modules like Vote, Minutes, Agenda, Comment, and Languages each bill on their own. Archive Migration and Onboarding are one-time charges.
