CloudAvocado is an AWS workload and cost management platform that eliminates idle spend with smart scheduling and continuous rightsizing guidance. Teams use CloudAvocado to automate non working hours behavior, rightsize Auto Scaling groups (ASGs) and container clusters, and visualize utilization and savings across accounts, tags, and regions.

Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A resource is a managed cloud asset that CloudAvocado tracks and optimizes. Supported types include EC2 instances, databases, container clusters, storage volumes, and Auto Scaling groups. Each item you connect counts toward your tier's resource limit. Your tier caps how many resources you can manage at once.
Each tier caps both resources and user seats. BRONZE and SILVER include 50 seats; GOLD includes 100; PLATINUM includes 200; DIAMOND includes unlimited seats. Resource limits range from 300 up to 10,000. To manage more resources or add seats, you move to a tier with higher limits.
Yes. Each tier pairs a resource limit with a seat limit, so you pick based on whichever you hit first. SILVER and BRONZE share 50 seats but differ in resource limits. If your team grows past a tier's seats, you move up even with room to spare on resources.

What do you like best about the product?
Our migration journey to CloudAvocado has been fantastic! We were able to quickly and easily implement a few hundred AWS resources into CloudAvocado, which is saving us thousands of USD daily. The CloudAvocado Team were there to help us every step of the way, making a very smooth transition - their super helpful support really made every difference to us. Additionally, they’re surprisingly receptive to our feature requests, moving at lightning speed. We’re very impressed with the CloudAvocado product and their team!

Nothing to dislike. They are still maturing, but they do so with grace and are on the right path.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CloudAvocado helps us drastically reduce our costs of running cloud workloads by allowing us to only run services when we need them.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to implement in your cloud accounts. Since it can be deployed by a manual IAM Role, you can be very specific of what you want the platform to control.
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing some funcitonality that had on previous tools. Schedule a reboot instance for example, its important for us.

Nothing at this point, tool saved way more than it cost to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have decent dev and stage environments in different AWS accounts which can be stopped for a non working hours. It’s inconvenient to support scripts in each account, especially when changes happens. As well CloudAvocado helped us stop MongoDB Atlas. Way how it shows data i dashboard - just great, it help as focus on things where we can save the most, from cost prospective

What do you like best about the product?
Looked for a while for ParkMyCloud replacement, after they got acquired. After a while with CloudAvocado, the biggest win is simplicity and ROI - we save thousands. Onboarding was quick and simple, literally couple of minutes. Best bonus - it used historical data from AWS, I could get all needed data without waiting. Team is very responsive - and adding new services quickly after request

What do you like best about the product?

Nothing. Team responsiveness is great, they are adding new features quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve run CloudAvocado for a full year now. Onboarding took a couple minutes - plug in the AWS accounts and the dashboard was ready almost instantly. For me it’s way more convenient and faster than combining data from CloudWatch and Cost Explorer, no heavy setup required. Since then we have saved way more than product costs. Their EKS extended support notification itself with a dollar amount assigned to it - highlighted huge savings. Overall my team is very happy with the product
