You pay by the hour for a preconfigured machine image that runs Apache ActiveMQ Artemis on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Pricing is not tiered by features. Instead, each dimension maps to a specific AWS EC2 instance type. Your hourly software rate changes based on the instance you pick. Smaller instances like t3.nano or t2.micro carry lower rates, while larger compute-heavy instances such as metal and 32xlarge sizes cost more. You choose the instance that fits your workload size, and billing scales with how many hours you run it.

You pay a software charge for the preconfigured machine image that runs Apache ActiveMQ Artemis on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. This rate covers the packaged, ready-to-run software layer. The underlying AWS EC2 compute is billed separately by AWS. Both appear together on your AWS bill.
The software rate meters running time only. When you stop the instance, the hourly software charge stops accruing. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but those are separate from the software charge. You resume paying the software rate when you restart.
Cost changes when you switch to a different EC2 instance type. Moving from a smaller size like t3.medium to a larger one like m6i.8xlarge raises your hourly software rate. The change is not automatic. You select the instance that matches your throughput needs, and billing follows that choice.

1.- Launch the product via 1-Click 2.- Use a web browser to access the Administration console at: http://[ec2-ip]:8161/console, where [ec2-ip] is the public ip provided by Amazon for your instance. 3.- Log in using the following credentials: - Username: 'admin' or 'user' - Password: the 'instance_id' of the instance You can also access your instance via SSH using the username 'ubuntu' and your Amazon private key.
