Health Check Engagement for Planning Analytics (TM1) Hosted on AWS

QueBIT will review and assess the following during the system diagnostic. Only Planning Analytics servers hosted on AWS are in scope. Not all items will be applicable to all clients.

• RAM footprint
• Number of cores, processors, and CPU speed
• Disk space utilized vs. available
• Backup schedule and restore capability
• Troubleshooting tools availability
• Current software versions
• Configuratoin file review

• Review of the business problem
• High level documentation of the data flows
• Review of short and long term strategic initiatives
• Validate appropriate dimensionality of cubes
• Review TI processes for best practices
• Review rules and feeders for best practive and performance
• Review security
• Evaluate model design in reference to the described business problem

• Describe use analysis needs
• Expose data and metrics created outside of the system
• Test representative cube views for performance
• Test linked spreadsheets for performance
• Evaluate model design in reference to the described user analysis needs

At the end of the diagnostic review, QueBIT will prepare and present a written document identifying findings and outlining recommendations for remediats and system improvements where or if required.
