The Construction Analysis System (CAS) is the DCN Market Analysis database of historical contract awards. Data is available monthly from 1967 to the present, at the individual project level for all non-residential and non-building project types. Single-family residential data is available as summarized totals by county. The database is updated 2 weeks after the end of each month. Project characteristics include project type, square footage, dollar value, number of dwelling units, story height, new projects vs. additions vs. alterations, county location, public vs. private ownership, building framing method, Dodge Report number, etc. Clients who have their own economic model for predicting future demand for their products will often use the monthly CAS data as a critical input for driving that model and predicting future demand.

Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.

This listing uses a single pricing dimension: Product Access (Units). You buy access under a contract, and the unit count sets how much access your team gets. Pricing scales with the number of units you subscribe to rather than through separate tiers or add-ons. There are no instance sizes or usage-based charges to choose between. You commit to the contract term and unit quantity that fit your team. This gives you access to the construction intelligence data covered by the subscription. Contact the vendor to determine the unit quantity your organization needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one unit of Product Access grant me?
A unit grants access to the construction intelligence subscription for your team. The exact mapping of units to users or seats is not detailed in the pricing data. Contact the vendor to confirm how units align with the number of people or roles who will use the platform.
What construction intelligence does my subscription access include?
Your access covers commercial construction project tracking across the project lifecycle, from pre-planning through completion. This includes verified project data, daily updates, specification alerts, firm relationship intelligence, and search and filtering tools. The subscription tracks public and private projects with daily-updated reports.
How does my cost change if I add more team members or roles?
Pricing scales with the number of units you subscribe to, not through separate tiers or usage charges. Adding more access means subscribing to more units under your contract. There are no instance sizes or overage fees. Contact the vendor to adjust your unit quantity.
