Pismo is a highly flexible, modular cloud native and API based processing platform for financial services. Banks and fintechs use the Pismo platform to create innovative financial products in a fast and scalable way. Among Pismo's clients are some of the largest financial institutions in Latin America , such as Itau, the largest bank in Latin America, BTG Pactual, the largest investment bank, and B3, owner of the Brazilian Stock Exchange. Pismo also serves new digital entrants, banks and fintechs in Europe, North America and Asia. Besides its headquarters in Brazil, Pismo has offices in the UK, the US, India and Singapore, and it works in partnership with OneConnect, part of the Asian group Ping An, in Southeast Asia. The Pismo platform comprises hundreds of microservices communicating with front-end applications through APIs. It manages over 66 million accounts, processes US$ 175 billion in transactions yearly, and receives 200 billion API calls annually. The platform performs operations in real-time, 24x7, with a zero downtime architecture. The Pismo platform can scale instantaneously to keep up with peak demand, exceeding 75,000 transaction authorisations per second. In addition, Pismo adopts the pay as you go price model so that financial institutions only pay for the resources they use. If needed, Pismo supplies tools for smooth account migration from a legacy system to its cloud based platform. These tools can transfer a large number of accounts gradually, with total visibility and data integrity assurance. Furthermore, the platform provides an extensive data stream for analytic, regulatory, and operational purposes.
