Overview
This AMI will deploy a single-node JMX enabled Apache Kafka 3.8.0 in KRaft-mode.The Kafka-Logs and OS will co-exist on a single EBS volume. The node will manage the KRaft-Controller, Kafka-Broker and Kafka-Connect via systemd services.

Create Instance - Enter the Name and Tags, Enter the AMI-Id in the Catalog, Select the Instance-type (ARM), Create or Enter an existing Key Pair, Enter Network Details - VPC, Subnet, IP or Auto-assign public IP, Security Group with the ports provided, Configure Storage (Space), Advanced Details - In User Data hostnamectl set-hostname your_host_name.
