Dimensions summary
You choose one of three contract tiers based on capacity. BASIC covers a set number of tags, either 5000 tags for one site or 1000 tags across five sites. STANDARD raises the tag count and adds defined limits for users and monthly SMS alerts. PRO increases those same three measures further: more tags, more users, and more SMS alerts per month. The tiers scale together across capacity, user seats, and alert volume, so you pick the level that matches your data collection and monitoring needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A tag is a single data point collected from your industrial equipment, such as a sensor reading or metric from a PLC. The device collects these values and sends them to the io-base platform for storage and analysis. Your tier limit sets how many tags you can track at once.
Each tier sets fixed caps on tags, users, and monthly SMS alerts. To go beyond these caps, you move to a higher tier that raises all three limits together. The change is not automatic; you select the tier matching your capacity needs when you contract.
All three scale together, so no single metric bills separately. BASIC sets only a tag count, split across one or five sites. STANDARD and PRO add fixed user seats and monthly SMS alert allowances alongside higher tag counts. Pick the tier whose combined limits fit your largest need.
