High-quality subtitle delivery requires far more than accurate transcription. Captions/Subtitles must comply with strict technical, linguistic, and platform-specific standard, covering reading speed, line length, avoiding burnt-in text overlap, timing accuracy, punctuation, speaker and regional guidelines. Traditionally, these checks are performed manually, making caption and subtitle QC slow, inconsistent, and difficult to scale across large content volumes and multiple vendors. CapMate caption/subtitle quality control software addresses this challenge by utilizing AI-powered automation. CapMate evaluates subtitle files against many technical rules, automatically detecting issues such as timing and sync mismatches, burnt-in text overlaps, reading speed violations, incorrect segmentation, formatting errors, and platform non-compliance, significantly reducing manual QC effort and rework.
Delivering good quality captions or subtitles can be very costly due to significant manual intervention required in identifying and rectifying a variety of issues with traditional captioning software. This becomes more difficult especially when different customers have different technical and quality requirements. Operators end up spending numerous hours and sometimes days dealing with this. If the Caption or Subtitle QC is neglected and not done properly, then this can pose serious brand risk in the current environment where viewers expect highest quality of experience. CapMate Captions QC & Correction platform changes all that. It automatically identifies issues and allows users to perform auto correction and export the rectified captions right from within the platform. This saves significant time & cost for the organisations, and allow them to deploy their resources in more value added tasks.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy this caption and subtitle QC software as an annual contract, measured in Vminutes (processing minutes). Two plans set how many Vminutes you get up front. The Beginner SaaS plan includes 18,000 Vminutes and runs up to 3 jobs at once. The Small SaaS plan includes 60,000 Vminutes and runs up to 5 jobs at once. Both apply a 3 Vminute minimum per file. Higher usage beyond your included amount bills on a pay-as-you-go basis. Pick a plan based on your yearly processing volume and how many files you need to process simultaneously.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What is a Vminute, and how does the 3 Vminute minimum per file work?
A Vminute is a processing minute the software consumes when it checks or corrects a caption file. Even a very short file draws down at least 3 Vminutes. So each file you submit reduces your included balance by a minimum of 3 Vminutes, regardless of its actual length.
What happens if I use more than my included Vminutes during the year?
Once you pass your plan's included Vminutes, extra processing bills on a pay-as-you-go basis. You keep working without a manual upgrade. The included amount covers your baseline volume, and any usage beyond it is charged separately as you consume it.
What does the simultaneous jobs limit mean for how fast I can process files?
The simultaneous jobs limit sets how many files process at the same time. The Beginner SaaS plan runs up to 3 jobs at once. The Small SaaS plan runs up to 5. A higher limit lets more files process in parallel, reducing wait time for large batches.
