    Dimensions summary

You pay by the hour for Docker running on AlmaLinux 8. Pricing has one structure: an hourly software rate tied to the EC2 instance size you pick. Each dimension maps to a specific instance type, from small general-purpose machines to large memory-, compute-, storage-, and GPU-focused options. Larger or more specialized instances carry higher hourly rates because they provide more compute, memory, or accelerator capacity. You choose the instance that fits your workload, and billing scales with the size and type you select. There is no upfront commitment; charges accrue only while instances run.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

Each dimension bills per hour for one running EC2 instance of that type. You are charged for the software layer on top of the instance you launch. The rate follows the instance's size and family, so a large memory or GPU instance meters at a higher hourly rate than a small general-purpose one.
The hourly software charge meters only while the instance runs. Stopping the instance halts the software charge. A stopped instance may still incur separate AWS storage fees for its attached volumes, but those are billed by AWS, not by this software listing.
