Try this product free for 5 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. You pay by the hour for this software running on AWS EC2 instances. Pricing is usage-based, so you are billed only for the hours each instance runs. The many dimensions listed are all EC2 instance types, from small options like t2.nano and t3.micro up to large ones like x1e.32xlarge and p3dn.24xlarge. They differ by compute, memory, and storage capacity, not by feature set. You choose the instance size that fits your workload. Hourly cost scales with the size and power of the instance you select.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Am I charged when an EC2 instance is stopped or powered off?
You pay by the hour only while an instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the software's hourly charge. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but the software meters running time only. Start the instance again and hourly billing resumes.
What does one hourly unit cover, and does it host my WordPress site directly?
One unit is one running EC2 instance of the type you pick, billed per hour. The software runs on that instance to install and manage WordPress. It does not host sites on separate infrastructure; the application lives on the instance you launch and pay for.
Which factor drives my hourly cost across these instance types?
Your cost is driven by the instance type you select, not by feature differences. Every type includes the same software capabilities. Compute, memory, and storage capacity set the rate. Small types like t2.nano cost less per hour; large types like x1e.32xlarge cost more. You pay one rate per running instance-hour.

I really wanted this stack to be a knock out dead on success. But it just didn't fulfill expectations. The admin environment of Installatron is awkward and not very straight forward. The stack itself and its install was I hate to say a mess. No access to the WordPress directory and the tree didn't follow any typical hierarchy that I am used to. Linux is not that hard to complicate but it was.
All in all I was disappointed.Sorry guys. One star for effort.
