AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Sandbox Studio uses a single contract dimension priced per AWS account. You pay based on the number of AWS accounts you use as sandboxes. Pricing scales directly with account count, so adding more sandbox accounts increases your total. Private Offers are available for scaled use and for Education customers, giving you a negotiated path when you need larger volumes. This model bills through a contract rather than hourly or usage-based metering.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one AWS Account unit for billing?
One unit is one AWS account used as a sandbox environment. Sandbox Studio provisions each account in an isolated area of your AWS organization for a user to experiment in. Each active sandbox account counts as one unit, so your total reflects how many sandbox accounts you run.
Does my cost change when a sandbox account is recycled or reused?
Sandbox Studio wipes and resets accounts once a user finishes, then reuses them for another user. Billing follows the number of AWS accounts in your pool, not how many users cycle through. Reusing an account for a new user does not add a unit.
How does cost scale if I need many sandbox accounts?
Cost rises with each additional AWS account you use as a sandbox. If you need a large number of accounts, Private Offers are available for scaled use and for Education customers, giving you a negotiated path for higher volumes.
