Programmatically access analytical actions from SAS Studio, call them from other languages – Python, R, Lua, Java – or use public REST APIs to add SAS Analytics to existing applications.
Dynamic group-by processing:
Concurrently build models and process results for each group or segment without having to sort or index data each time.
Model comparison, assessment & scoring:
Generate model comparison summaries (lift charts, ROC charts, concordance statistics, misclassification tables) on one or more models. Export models as SAS DATA step code and apply them to new data.

AWS Services/Resources:
We (ISx4), as a SAS reseller, will be provisioning the infrastructure (compute, network, storage, and optimisation), support and governance for potential customers via AWS marketplace.
Infrastructure is deployed via Terraform IAC (Infrastructure as Code).

- Visual data exploration • Interpret complex relationships or key variables that influence modelling outcomes within large data sets. Visual interface access to analytical techniques • Clustering, Decision trees, Linear regression, Logistic regression, generalized linear models, Generalized additive models, and Nonparametric logistic regression. Programming access to analytical techniques • Programmers/data scientists can access SAS Viya (CAS) from SAS Studio using SAS procedures and other tasks.
- Descriptive statistics - Distinct counts, Box plots, Correlations, Cross-tabulations, Contingency tables, Histograms, Multidimensional summaries, Percentiles for variables, Summary statistics, Kernel density estimates/constructs. Group-by processing - Build models, compute/process results (no sort/index), Segment-based models from decision tree/clustering analysis. Model comparison, assessment/scoring - Model comparison, ROC charts, concordance statistics and misclassification tables for models.
- Model scoring • Export models as SAS DATA step code to integrate models with other applications. • Score code is automatically concatenated if a model uses derived outputs from other models (leaf ID, cluster ID, etc.). SAS Viya in-memory runtime engine • SAS Cloud Analytic Services (CAS) performs processing in memory and distributes processing across nodes in a cluster.
