AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
This listing uses a single usage-based unit called GDM_CREDIT. You buy credits, each valued at one US dollar, and draw them down as you use the marketplace. There are no tiers or instance sizes to choose between. Your total cost scales directly with how many credits you consume. The platform supports anonymous data purchases with immediate payment, so you access data as needed and pay through the credit balance you hold.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one GDM_CREDIT represent, and how is it counted against my usage?
Each GDM_CREDIT is a single unit valued at one US dollar. You hold a balance of these credits. As you access or purchase data on the marketplace, credits draw down from your balance. Your consumption determines how many credits you use, and your cost matches the credits spent.
Am I charged when I am not actively purchasing or accessing data?
Charges apply only when you consume credits for a data purchase or access action. Holding a credit balance without using it does not draw down credits. Your bill reflects the credits you actually spend, so idle periods do not accrue new usage charges.
How does usage-based credit billing work as my data needs grow?
There are no tiers or fixed instance sizes. You buy credits and spend them as you access data. When your needs grow, you consume more credits and your cost rises in direct proportion. Purchases process immediately, letting you scale access up or down based on demand.
