GTD AWS Patching overview The default foundational outcomes defined as the deliverables for the Patch professional services include: • Documented Patch policy is created and updated. • A patch compliance monthly report of all AWS instances across the organization is provided. • Daily patch scanning of EC2 instances is completed. • A Patch installation schedule. • Patch management dashboards are updated with appropriate patch status visibility. • An automated runbook is created to assist internal teams with rebooting EC2 instances in auto scaling groups. The above is the default set of outcomes for the Patch professional service. Aspects of the scope and outcomes can be tailored to the specific customer needs as required, namely the Patch policy to be used. A clear set of roles and responsibilities will also accompany the service to ensure clarity of scope is understood and delivered and adhered to. GTD AWS Backup overview The default foundational outcomes defined as the deliverables for the Backups professional services include: • Documented Backups policy is created and updated. • A Backup status monthly report of all AWS instance backup statuses. • Backup issue identification and resolution. • Backup policy optimisation. • Backup management dashboards are updated with appropriate backup status visibility. • Snapshot delivery and management.
