SailPoint Agentic Identity Security delivers governance for AI agents-helping enterprises discover, manage, and secure autonomous digital workers that access sensitive data, make decisions, and act on behalf of humans.
SailPoint Agent Identity Security delivers unified governance and security for the era of intelligent automation-where AI agents now access sensitive data, make autonomous decisions, and act on behalf of human users. AIS extends identity-first security to your growing ecosystem of AI agents operating across AWS and other connected platforms.
Without proper governance, AI agents can expose credentials, access confidential data, or operate outside approved boundaries: creating significant security, audit, and operational risk. Agent Identity Security closes those gaps by bringing every agent, their users, and the tools they access together in one governed view, enabling complete visibility and control.
With SailPoint Agent Identity Security, organizations can:
-Discover all AI agents in AWS and beyond, automatically onboarding them into a single governed system of record. Each agent is registered with a unique identity enriched with business and access context, including the sensitive data and systems it can reach.
-Assign clear ownership and accountability by designating one or multiple human owners for each AI agent. Built-in succession planning ensures ownership continuity, even as roles or teams change.
-Review and certify access to verify that AI agents maintain only the permissions they need while reducing the risk of data leaks, privilege misuse, or unauthorized access to sensitive resources.
-Unify oversight across human, machine, and agent identities under one platform for consistent governance and compliance across AWS and other environments.
SailPoint Agent Identity Security helps enterprises embrace AI responsibly while protecting sensitive information, enforcing least-privilege access, and maintaining continuous compliance. By delivering visibility, automation, and governance purpose-built for AI agents, Agent Identity Security enables organizations to innovate securely while defending their most critical data. AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing is sold as a contract with one pricing dimension, SailPoint Agent Identity Security (AIS), billed in units. You commit to a set quantity of units for the contract term rather than paying per hour or by usage. The product governs AI agents and other non-human identities across your enterprise, giving you visibility, ownership, and control. Because there is a single dimension, your total cost scales with the number of units you purchase. Contact the vendor to confirm how units map to your identity counts and to set the right quantity.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one unit of SailPoint Agent Identity Security (AIS) map to?
The marketplace table bills in units but does not define the exact mapping. In practice, units track non-human identities such as AI agents, bots, and machine accounts. The product ties each agent to a human owner and governs it as an identity. Contact the vendor to confirm how units count against your specific identity totals.
What happens to my cost as the number of AI agents grows over the contract?
You commit to a set unit quantity for the term. If your agent count rises past that quantity, you would need to purchase more units. Because non-human identities can multiply quickly, plan the quantity for expected growth. Contact the vendor to align your unit commitment with projected agent counts.
What capabilities are included when I buy the units in this contract?
Units cover discovery, ownership assignment, access mapping, and lifecycle governance for AI agents and non-human identities. You get visibility into every agent, connect them to human owners, and apply least-privilege and audit controls. Real-time behavior monitoring and automated response are described as extensions in the vendor's broader capability set.

I find SailPoint incredibly helpful for role and access management, as it simplifies the process of requesting access for certain apps or roles. It’s very automatic; just a few clicks, and it gets everything done, which I appreciate as it saves me time. I really like the feature that allows me to request access for someone else, so if I know my team will need something, I can request it for all of them. The initial setup of SailPoint was really easy, with the majority of it handled by UT, but for our team, it was pretty simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much, i like it overall
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use SailPoint for role and access management. It simplifies requesting access for apps or roles and is automatic, getting everything done with just a few clicks. I like requesting access for someone else too, which saves time by efficiently managing team needs.

Centralized, Scalable Identity Governance That Boosts Security and Compliance
Reviewed on Jul 28, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about SailPoint is its ability to centralize and automate identity governance at scale. It helps organizations manage user access throughout the entire identity lifecycle, improving security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s difficult to run tests in development environments, for example. I have some certifications, but I can only test scenarios in my company’s environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a security professional, SailPoint helps me address one of the biggest security challenges: controlling who has access to critical systems and data. It provides visibility into access rights, automates governance processes, and helps detect excessive or inappropriate permissions. This reduces security risk, simplifies compliance activities, and allows teams to focus on higher-value security initiatives instead of manual access management tasks.

Massive Library of Pre-Built Connectors for Complex Legacy Environments
Reviewed on Jul 23, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Its' massive library of pre-built connectors for complex legacy environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ongoing cost. The software license is steep, but the real expense comes from needing specialized developers on retainer just to rewrite custom scripts whenever an update breaks your integration workflows. On top of that, the administrative UI is a little clunky and feels like software built fifteen years ago
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access creep: Makes managers review and revoke old system permissions.
Manual lifecycles: Ties software access directly to HR data. New hires get instant access, and terminated employees are locked out immediately.
Audit nightmares: Automatically builds a clear paper trail
Siloed visibility: Centralizes identity tracking across hundreds of disconnected apps.
