You pay by the hour for a LEMP stack (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP) running on Ubuntu 22.04. Pricing has one billing model: usage-based hourly rates. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS EC2 instance type, so your hourly cost depends only on which instance size you launch. Smaller general-purpose types cost less per hour, while larger compute, memory, storage, and GPU-focused instances cost more. You are not locked into a term. You scale cost up or down by choosing the instance that fits your workload and by running it only when needed.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What software is included in the LEMP stack I pay for by the hour?
You get a preconfigured LEMP stack on Ubuntu 22.04: Linux, the Nginx web server, MySQL database, and PHP. All of these run together on the single EC2 instance type you launch. The vendor supports the configuration. Each dimension bundles this same software; only the underlying instance size changes.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
The software fee meters running instance-hours only. When you fully stop the instance, the hourly software charge stops accruing. Note that AWS may still bill underlying storage for a stopped instance, but that is separate from the software rate shown in the pricing table.
Does each pricing line map to one running server, and can I switch instance sizes later?
Yes. Each dimension maps to one AWS EC2 instance type, and you pay the hourly rate for each running instance of that type. To change size, launch a different instance type from the list. Your hourly cost then follows the new type's rate.
