Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for Nginx running on Amazon Linux 2023, based on the ARM-based EC2 instance type you choose. Each dimension maps to one instance size, so pricing scales with the compute, memory, and storage that instance provides. Smaller instances like t4g.nano cost less per hour, while larger ones like m7gd.16xlarge cost more. Compute-optimized (c-series), memory-optimized (r- and x-series), general purpose (m- and a-series), and storage- or network-focused families are all offered. Apollo hardens each VM and provides on-demand support. Pick the instance that fits your workload; there is no upfront commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hour of billing cover for a given instance type?
Each dimension bills per hour that the chosen ARM-based EC2 instance runs. One unit equals one running instance for one hour of the Nginx software on Amazon Linux 2023. The instance type you select sets the compute, memory, and storage behind that hourly charge.
Am I charged the hourly software fee when my instance is stopped?
The hourly software charge meters running time. When you stop an instance, that software charge stops accruing. Stopped instances may still incur separate AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but those are billed by AWS, not by this listing's per-hour software rate.
Can I change instance sizes as my workload grows, and how does that affect billing?
Each instance type is priced separately by the hour. Moving to a different size means launching that instance type and paying its hourly rate instead. There is no upfront commitment, so you switch as needs change. Apollo hardens each VM and offers on-demand support across sizes.
