Dimensions summary
You pay per API request under a usage-based model. There are no monthly fees or contracts. Two dimensions set the rate. One dimension covers creating static QR Codes plus updating and tracking dynamic QR Codes. The other dimension covers creating dynamic QR Codes. Each is billed by request volume, so your cost scales with how many API calls you make. Scans of your QR Codes are free. Charges appear directly on your AWS bill, with no separate billing account required.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
One dimension bills for creating static QR Codes and for updating or tracking dynamic QR Codes. The other dimension bills for creating dynamic QR Codes. Each API call to these endpoints counts as one request. Scans of your QR Codes are not charged.
The two dimensions bill independently and appear on the same invoice. Static creates plus dynamic updates and tracking accrue under one dimension. Dynamic creates accrue under the other. Your total reflects how many calls you make to each endpoint type. Neither charge depends on the other.
Scans are free and never generate charges. Updating a dynamic QR Code destination is a tracked request billed under the dimension that also covers static creates and tracking. You pay only for API calls, not for how often codes are scanned.
