Well-Architected Review

Svitla's approach to AWS Well-Architected Framework Reviews (WAFR) begins with engaging certified AWS experts who conduct deep dives into clients' AWS environments through live sessions and direct investigation. These sessions include interviews, workshops, and thorough analysis of AWS deployments, configurations, monitoring logs, and integrations.

Following this, Svitla’s AWS experts refine the work materials and prepare a final discussion document with findings, recommendations, business-cases supported by roadmap projects. Each roadmap project is defined in terms of vision, purpose, outcome, benefits (tangible and intangible), complexity, risks, cost, effort, and duration. Svitla delivers the discussion document in a meeting to answer questions and (ideally) include the client’s leaders so they recognize shared WAFR Svitla/client chemistry, collaboration and outcomes.

• No formal questionnaires: Each customer is unique, so Svitla’s experts take into consideration business structure, cloud adoption state, and development processes. In addition, for deeper infrastructure understanding and better recommendations, we may review application architecture, services usage, logs, and metrics.
• Efficient Timeline: Recognizing clients' urgency regarding cloud-related matters, Svitla conducts typical WAFR within a three-week timeframe, from stakeholder interviews to final discussion meetings, ensuring swift and impactful outcomes. We listen to our customers and limit questions and pillars only to those that are essential for you.
• Сonduct review at different layers: Workload for review could be selected in multiple ways according to your business needs and stakeholders' pain points. It could contain cloud infrastructure only, infrastructure and application, or the whole workload, including processes and people.
• Cost Optimization: While not essential, we recommend including Cost Optimization Pillar in the review. Svitla helps minimize unnecessary expenses, analyzes identified risks, and proposes cost management improvements. We examine where financial resources are allocated, select the most suitable resource types and quantities, analyze spending patterns over time, and scale infrastructure to meet business demands without exceeding budget constraints.
• Further support: Svitla answers all client's questions, reviews risks, supports a client after WA review, and provides an improvement plan.
