Easy configuration and automation of AWS CloudWatch with REST endpoints. Make your instance monitoring easier, quicker and automated with CloudWatch envimation.
Whether you are looking for a simple, AWS-native monitoring solution or already have an established infrastructure as code pipeline, CloudWatch envimation is for you!
If you need a jump-start, it will provide you with visibility of all CloudWatch instance metrics in no time.
If you already have a pipeline and want to include creation and management of CloudWatch dashboards into it, a simple HTTP request to envimation will automate it for you.
Effortless visibility
CloudWatch exposes numerous metrics for your EC2 instances by default. Making them visible, however, can be a tedious work. All that time spent on digging into the syntax of Widgets and Dashboards... With envimation, all of it is done with just 1 HTTP request to our endpoint. In an instant, you will see graphs generated for every available metric. It's all there, AWS-native with no external agents or time-series databases, effortlessly.
Infrastructure changes under control
Every time your instances are recreated, CloudWatch needs to be updated with new instance IDs. CloudWatch envimation automates that for you by making use of instance name tags. No more time wasted on manual updates.
EBS volumes and EC2 instances treated as a whole
CloudWatch exposes EC2 metrics separately from EBS metrics using cryptic IDs of each resource. Envimation links them together for easy access of all related data. This process makes your instance metrics and volume metrics available under the same names as your tagged instances.
Highlights
AWS Native ready-to-run solutions for your monitoring setup
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
This product uses a single usage-based pricing dimension. You pay for each request you make to the envimation endpoints. There are no tiers, instance sizes, or fixed monthly commitments. Your cost scales directly with how many requests you send. Each request calls the service to build CloudWatch dashboards for your EC2 instances. The more requests you make, the more you pay; if you make no requests, you incur no request charges under this dimension.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one billable request to the envimation endpoints?
Each call you make to the endpoint counts as one request. A single request tells the service to build CloudWatch dashboards for your EC2 instances in a chosen region. You can filter instances by name using a regex, but the whole call still counts as one request.
What do I need before I can send billable requests?
After you subscribe, you register an account and get a unique token. That token goes into every request you send to the endpoints. You can retrieve your token any time by signing in. No charges accrue until you actually send requests.
Does one request cover multiple EC2 instances or do I pay per instance?
You pay per request, not per instance. A single request can create dashboards for all or some of your EC2 instances in a region, using name-based filtering. It also visualizes EBS volume metrics and links them to the matching instances, all within that one billable request.
