This listing bills through a contract by user across five independent options. You pick the components your fleet needs and can combine them. Samsara Vehicle Telematics covers vehicle compliance, maintenance, and performance. Samsara Front Facing Camera and Samsara Dual Facing Camera add live video for driver coaching and incident review. Samsara Powered Equipment Monitoring and Samsara Unpowered Equipment Monitoring track uptime and safety of your assets. The options are not tiers. Each is priced separately per user, so your cost scales with the mix and count of users you select.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each option bills per user. A user is a person granted access to that component in the Samsara platform. The Vehicle Telematics, camera, and equipment monitoring options are counted independently, so a person using two components counts as a user under each one you subscribe to.
No. The five options price separately. Adding Samsara Front Facing Camera, Dual Facing Camera, or an equipment monitoring option adds its own per-user charge. Your existing components keep their own per-user rate. Your total is the sum of each component's user count times its price.
Both track uptime and safety of your assets, and both bill per user. Powered Equipment Monitoring adds engine diagnostics and sensor integration for assets with a power source. Unpowered Equipment Monitoring uses battery-powered tracking for assets like trailers that lack an engine connection.
