This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges are applied for the deployment of the application and AMI support and compliance. Vector databases are a modern way to interact with abstract data representations derived from opaque machine learning models such as deep learning architectures. These representations are called vectors or embeddings and they compress the essence of documents images or other data into numerical form.
Qdrant is a leading vector database that provides a production ready service with a convenient API to store search and manage points (that is vectors) alongside rich payload metadata. Payload metadata lets you refine searches and return valuable contextual information to your users.
Traditional full table scans compute distances from a query to every object in a database. This approach works at very small scale but becomes impractical as datasets grow. Qdrant solves this by using an efficient graph like index to narrow the search to a small set of candidates in sublinear time. You get lightning fast similarity search even over millions of vectors.
EasyVector AI Platform makes it simple to launch Qdrant on Ubuntu with Docker and start querying vectors instantly. Included are ready to use Flask and Streamlit dashboards for static and interactive analytics. You can load any new snapshot into the built in vectors collection and both dashboards will pick it up automatically with no code changes.
Deploy EasyVector AI Platform to AWS in one click and begin exploring semantic search recommendation systems and advanced analytics in minutes.

Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
