Overview
This service provides an endpoint over which you you can send TCP data.
A common example of this is syslog data to TCP socket.
Experience:
When you subscribe to this SaaS product a VPC Endpoint Service (endpoint) is made available and dedicated to you.
You are provided a VPC Endpoint Service ARN to create a VPC Endpoint within a VPC (or multiple) belonging to your subscribing AWS account.
Any data you send over to the endpoint/socket will be chunked, compressed and put as S3 Objects (GZip'ed, a key ending in .gz) into an S3 Bucket (bucket).
You have permissions to read, delete, and list objects in the bucket. You may access the bucket from any AWS IAM Principal of your subscribing AWS account.
The bucket is configured as Requester Pays so any further use you make of the data via your subscribing AWS account is billed directly to you.
Pricing:
You will be billed via this subscription for the time you are subscribed (while the endpoint is available to you) and the amount of data transferred.
You will also be billed via this subscription for the data stored in the S3 bucket.
You will be billed directly by AWS - not via this subscription, for use you make of the data in the AWS bucket (Requester Pays).
