Overview
The AWS Cloud Architecture, Security & Cost Optimization Assessment helps organizations evaluate and improve their existing or planned AWS environment. ScaleOps reviews the customer’s AWS accounts, workloads, architecture, identity and access controls, security configuration, operational practices, resilience, performance, governance, automation, and cloud expenditure. The exact scope is tailored to the AWS services and workloads included in the agreed engagement.
The assessment may cover AWS Organizations, AWS Control Tower, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), Amazon VPC, Amazon EC2, Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon CloudFront, AWS WAF, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Config, Amazon GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, Amazon Inspector, AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS), AWS Backup, AWS Systems Manager, Infrastructure as Code, and AWS cost-management services, as applicable to the customer environment.
Customers receive a current-state assessment, prioritized architecture and security findings, cost-optimization opportunities, a risk-ranked remediation register, and a phased 30/60/90-day improvement roadmap. The engagement does not constitute a formal compliance audit or certification, penetration test, or guarantee of cost savings. Remediation and Implementation services may be included through a separately agreed private offer.
