Options span general-purpose (m-series, a1, t4g), compute-optimized (c-series), memory-optimized (r-series, x-series), storage-optimized (i-series, im4gn, is4gen), GPU (g5g), and HPC (hpc7g) families. Within each family, larger sizes carry more vCPU and memory and cost more per hour. Metal sizes run on dedicated hardware. Standard AWS charges for compute, storage, and data transfer apply separately.

One unit is one running EC2 instance of the ARM64 (Graviton) type you launch. You pay the hourly software plus support rate for each active instance. Metal sizes bill as one instance running on dedicated hardware. Running more instances multiplies the charge per instance.
The software and support fee meters running time only. A stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. Underlying AWS storage for that instance may still bill separately. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
The hourly rate bundles vendor support with the Rocky Linux 9 ARM64 Minimal image. Separate professional services like security hardening to CIS Benchmarks, compliance mapping for PCI-DSS, SOX, and HIPAA, and performance tuning are engagements arranged with the vendor, not part of this hourly listing.
