Another dimension charges for memory resources you consume, per GB per hour. The final dimension bills for data processed through the load balancer, per GB. Your total cost rises as your storage, transfer, memory use, and processing volumes grow.

What does the data transfer IN and OUT metering measure, and how is it counted?
These two dimensions meter data crossing the platform boundary. Data transfer IN covers information sent into the platform; data transfer OUT covers information leaving it. Both are billed per GB per hour, so the rate reflects both the volume moved and how long that transfer activity persists.
Which dimension drives most of my bill on this platform?
All five dimensions bill independently and appear together on one invoice. Stored data and memory resources tend to dominate for large geospatial datasets kept resident on the platform. Transfer IN, transfer OUT, and load balancer processing rise with how much data you move and process. Your workload pattern determines which cost leads.
Am I charged for memory resources when I am not actively processing data?
Memory resources bill per GB per hour, so charges accrue while memory is allocated and held on the platform, not only during active processing. To stop memory charges, you would need to release those resources. Storage charges for retained data continue separately, based on the amount of data kept on the platform.
