Dimensions summary
You pay based on usage, measured in gigabytes (GB) of video traffic. Two dimensions let you match billing to how you route your streams. One dimension charges per GB when you run ZEN Master with AWS MediaConnect, Elemental Link, and MediaLive. The other charges per GB for traffic that flows through Zixi Broadcaster. Both scale with the volume of video you move, so your cost tracks actual throughput. You can use the path that fits your workflow, and pay only for the GB you process.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You are billed per gigabyte of live video traffic that moves through your workflow. Each GB reflects actual video data processed, not the number of channels or streams. Your cost tracks throughput, so higher-volume feeds and longer events accrue more GB than short, low-bitrate ones.
One dimension meters GB when you route streams using AWS MediaConnect, Elemental Link, and MediaLive. The other meters GB for traffic flowing through Zixi Broadcaster, the media processing engine. Each meters the path it applies to. You pay for whichever routing path carries your video.
Both dimensions bill independently and appear on the same invoice. The dimension carrying more video volume drives more of your cost. If you route most traffic through Zixi Broadcaster, that dimension dominates. If you rely on the AWS MediaConnect path, that dimension leads.
