Robota is an API-based AI engine designed to streamline and automate accounting operations. It offers a suite of specialized AI modules for tasks such as OCR-based invoice and receipt recognition, document classification, preprocessing, and journal entry support.
Diverse AI Engines
Invoice Robota(Summary Version & Detailed Version): Automatically extracts essential accounting information from scanned invoice images and converts it into structured text-no predefined templates required.
Receipt Robota: Reads key accounting fields from scanned receipt images and outputs structured text data, eliminating the need for template-based extraction.
Sorting Robota: Analyzes each page of uploaded files to determine whether it contains relevant documents, such as receipts or invoices. Especially useful for batch-scanned files, this module automatically identifies and selects the necessary documents.
Cropping & Auto Rotate Robota: Detects receipts or invoices attached to company-specific backing sheets. When multiple documents are captured in a single image, it automatically performs cropping and orientation correction to optimize OCR accuracy.
Journal Entry Robota: Suggests appropriate accounting codes based on extracted data such as amounts, dates, and payees. It returns a list of candidate entries to reduce manual workload in journal entry tasks.
Verification Robota: Performs multi-angle consistency checks to verify the accuracy of values extracted by Invoice Robota and Receipt Robota, returning results for user confirmation.
Highlights
Flexible, Template-Free OCR for Invoices and Receipts: Automatically extracts key accounting data-such as date, amount, and vendor-from scanned invoices and receipts without requiring predefined templates. Extraction fields can be customized to match your business needs.
Advanced Preprocessing and Document Classification: Handles multi-document images with ease by automatically detecting, classifying, cropping, and rotating receipts and invoices-even when scanned together. This ensures clean, OCR-ready data.
Compliance-Ready and Seamlessly Integrated via API: Fully compliant with Japan's Electronic Book Maintenance Act ('Denchoho') and designed as an API for easy integration with cloud systems and internal workflows. It reduces manual entry, prevents errors, and accelerates accounting operations.

This listing is available only through a private offer with a Contract pricing model. You buy the Standard Plan measured in units. Since this is a single-dimension plan, your total scales with the number of units you commit to. Initial setup costs are not part of this plan's pricing. The implementation team gives you a separate quote for setup after you engage them. To get pricing tailored to your usage, you work directly with the vendor to arrange the private offer terms.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one unit under the Standard Plan for billing?
The Standard Plan meters usage in units tied to the AI accounting engine's processing. The service reads invoices and receipts and returns data through an API. Your unit count reflects how much of this processing you use. Contact the vendor to confirm exactly how units map to your document volume.
What is not covered by the Standard Plan price?
Initial setup costs are not part of the Standard Plan pricing. The vendor's implementation team gives you a separate quote for setup. This setup connects you to both production and development environment servers so you can start using the service. Any added AI training you request is priced separately after discussion.
What processing capabilities do the units cover in this plan?
Units cover the API-based AI functions for accounting work. These include pre-processing to sort and correct document images, OCR to read invoices and receipts into text data, journal-entry inference for account codes, and consistency checks on amounts. You can use all or part of these functions under your contract.
