Highlights
Business-specific guardrails outperforming major LLM providers' moderation layers.
Quote from API User (CTO at GenAI Enterprise Search Company):
"I thought the default guardrails of our platform provider were good enough, but when I started testing both I realized Alinia guardrails were catching content that generic default filters are not. Alinia guardrails are far more nuanced in high-stake business-specific scenarios, such as detecting investment advice."
Blazing-fast API adding minimal latency.
Quote from API User (SWE at GenAI Integrator platform): "it's amazing how fast it is".
LLM and genAI vendor agnostic. Alinia Guard API enables you to control any LLM and any of your providers' applications you are using.

You pay based on usage, measured by character count per detector. A detector is a single check that scans text for issues like sensitive data, security threats, or accuracy problems. Each detector you run against text adds to your character total. This is the only pricing dimension. Your cost scales directly with how much text you process and how many detectors you apply. There are no fixed tiers or instance sizes. The more content you send through the API, and the more detectors you enable, the higher your usage-based charges.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one character for billing, and how do detectors affect the count?
You are billed by character count, meaning each character in the text you send is metered. The total is multiplied per detector applied. If you run one detector on a block of text, those characters count once. Running two detectors on the same text counts those characters twice.
What is a detector, and what kinds of checks can it perform?
A detector is a single check applied to text. Checks include flagging sensitive or personal data, blocking security threats like prompt injection or jailbreak attempts, and reducing inaccurate output. You can also build custom checks, from banned-word lists to pattern matching and topic detection.
Am I charged when I send text but no issue is found?
Yes. Billing is based on the character count processed by each detector, not on whether an issue is detected. Every character scanned adds to your total, regardless of the result. Sending more text or enabling more detectors raises your usage charges.
