Overview
Q by Q.security is an enterprise cryptographic governance platform that automates post-quantum cryptography (PQC) migration. Enterprises are told to migrate everything, but no organization can migrate everything at once. Q answers the question of where to start by connecting top-down business risk to the bottom-up inventory of cryptography actually in use, then drives remediation step by step until every fix is validated.
Key capabilities:
- Business context mapping: model business applications and shared platforms by owner, criticality, data sensitivity, confidentiality lifetime and regulatory scope.
- Agentless discovery and CBOM: build a Cryptographic Bill of Materials across code repositories, cloud, on-premises infrastructure (PKI, HSM, KMS, VPN, IAM), endpoints and existing security systems, with harvest-now-decrypt-later context.
- AI prioritization engine: score every finding on business impact, compliance exposure and threat priority to produce a phased migration plan with clear milestones.
- Orchestrated remediation: runbooks, automation and two-way ticketing integration (Jira, ServiceNow, Linear) with safe change control and validated closure.
- Program governance: executive dashboards, regulatory mapping (NIST PQC standards, CNSA 2.0, EU and UK requirements) and audit-ready evidence packages.
Q runs the PQC migration program usually owned by the CISO; giving boards, auditors and regulators a defensible, repeatable answer on quantum readiness; maintaining continuous cryptographic posture management and long-term crypto-agility.
The value for the buyer: effort goes to the cryptography that matters most to the business first, risk goes down in production rather than on paper, and the next cryptographic transition becomes a re-run of the same program.
AWS integration: Q discovers and governs cryptography across AWS infrastructure and workloads, including AWS Key Management Service (KMS), AWS Certificate Manager (ACM), AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Amazon Bedrock. Q is delivered as a tenant-isolated SaaS with a hybrid control plane, with a runner inside the customer environment, and governs cryptography without ever holding keys.
Highlights
- Business-first PQC prioritization: top-down business risk meets bottom-up crypto inventory in one AI engine.
- From discovery to done: orchestrated remediation with runbooks, ticketing and validated closure.
- Continuous cryptographic posture management keeps the CISO in control and the enterprise crypto-agile.
