You buy WebPush service through a contract based on your monthly peak Daily Active Users (DAU). DAU counts the maximum single-day active user total observed each month. Pricing scales along two choices. First, you pick a data node location: Singapore or HongKong. Second, you pick a DAU capacity tier of 20K, 50K, or 100K. Each combination of node and DAU tier is a separate option. Higher DAU tiers cover more active users. Choose the node that fits where your users are located.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
DAU stands for Daily Active User. The system tracks your active user count each day. It then takes the maximum single-day total observed during the month. That peak number determines which capacity tier you need. Repeated activity by the same user in one day still counts as one active user.
Each option covers a set DAU capacity: 20K, 50K, or 100K. If your monthly peak grows beyond your tier, you move to a higher DAU capacity option. This change is not automatic — you select the option that fits your expected peak. Choose a tier that covers your busiest day.
Two factors set your option. First, the data node location, Singapore or HongKong, which affects where your data is served. Second, the DAU capacity tier matching your peak active users. Each node and tier pair is billed as one separate option. Pick the node closest to your users.
