Overview
OptiChain Single Echelon Inventory Optimizer is an analytics engine designed to help supply chain teams optimize inventory levels at individual stocking points such as warehouses, distribution centers, or retail locations, without requiring complex multi-tier supply chain data.
This tool is ideal for businesses that want to reduce stockouts, minimize excess inventory, and balance working capital investments at a specific location in their supply chain. Whether you're managing hundreds of SKUs across multiple sites or just one facility, this optimizer gives you data-driven safety stock, reorder point (ROP), and order-up-to level (OUL) recommendations based on historical consumption and forecasted demand.
Highlights
- OptiChain Single Echelon Inventory Optimizer provides highly reliable inventory targets at 90%, 95%, and 98% customer service levels. It helps optimize inventory targets by accounting for demand variability, supply variability, and lead time. The tool also considers replenishment frequency and review period to customize for your supply chain needs.
- If you've used NuroNet forecasting, this is your next step in optimizing inventory targets. The output provides the reorder point and order-up-to level to guide your replenishment planning. Additionally, OptiChain estimates the Weeks of Supply (WoS) targets required to meet your customer service levels (90%, 95%, and 98%).
