AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for this hardened, PCI-focused CentOS 9 image running on ARM64 (Graviton) instances. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS instance type, so your rate follows the instance you launch. Smaller instances like t4g.nano or c8g.medium bill at lower hourly rates. Rates rise as you move to larger sizes, such as 48xlarge or bare-metal options. General-purpose, compute, memory, and storage-optimized families are all listed. Pick the instance that fits your workload, and you pay only for hours used. AWS infrastructure charges apply separately from this software fee.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Am I charged the hourly software fee when my Graviton instance is stopped or powered off?
The software fee meters running hours. A fully stopped instance stops accruing this hourly software charge. You may still see separate AWS charges, such as storage for attached volumes, while the instance is stopped. Only running time triggers the software fee shown on each dimension.
What exactly does one hour of billing cover, and what does my team still own?
One hour covers the maintained, PCI-focused CentOS 9 ARM64 image running on your chosen instance. This is the OS baseline only. Your team still owns application security, cloud architecture, identity, networking, logging, evidence retention, and assessor validation. AWS infrastructure charges are billed separately from this software fee.
How do I move to a different instance size, and does my rate change automatically?
There is no automatic tier upgrade. You launch the instance type you want, and that dimension's hourly rate applies for the hours it runs. To change size, launch a different instance type. Your bill reflects each running instance's own rate, not a shared threshold.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes
Updated version of Citadel AMI with security patches.
This image comes pre-configured with PCI compliance already integrated. However, it's worth noting that the use of a hardened system could call for certain adaptations. The advanced security measures might restrict some functionalities or require additional actions for certain operations due to its hardened nature. Should any issues arise, we recommend reaching out to the software provider for further assistance.
