Overview
The M&A Carve-Out Planning Workshop is a strategic, up to 3-day session tailored for organizations preparing for spin-offs, divestitures, or IT separations. Led by Ensunet’s M&A specialists and AWS cloud architects, the workshop uses AWS Control Tower for environment modeling, AWS Organizations for account strategy, AWS IAM for identity planning, and AWS Migration Hub to begin mapping application separation and migration paths.
Participants collaborate on defining separation boundaries, identifying TSA requirements, and building carve-out execution roadmaps. Security and compliance are addressed using AWS Security Hub, while dashboards and visualization are built in Amazon QuickSight to drive decision-making. For cloud migration planning, we also review use of AWS Application Migration Service to help accelerate post-workshop execution.
The outcome: An actionable IT carve-out playbook that includes identity separation strategy, AWS account structure design, security posture planning, and a cloud-first transition timeline.
