Spillbox's innovative adaptive cloud bursting solution seamlessly expands on-premise workload to the cloud in the real time, enabling accelerated time-to-market while ensuring scalability and efficiency
Spillbox improves semiconductor companies TTM by accelerating engineering design and verification tasks. With a proven track record of successful collaborations with leading EDA companies and deployments across large and mid-sized chip manufacturers, Spillbox excels in optimizing both front-end and back-end workloads essential to chip design.
Spillbox simplifies cloud bursting with zero-click or single-command execution, requiring no changes to application workflows while automatically identifying and transferring only necessary data without user intervention. It significantly reduces cloud costs by ensuring storage expenses are just 2.5% of cloud compute costs, optimizing data movement with local NVMe, supporting Spot Instances with checkpointing to lower compute costs, and incurring no storage costs when the cloud is idle. Additionally, its patented storage technology eliminates performance degradation caused by WAN latency, ensuring cloud performance matches on-premises levels with fast WAN data transfer.
Spillbox enables IT departments the ability to deliver high performance adaptive cloud bursting solutions to their R&D teams with security, architecture, and financial controls.

Same performance in the cloud compared to on-premises. Automatically scales to massive workloads.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing offers two ways to pay for the same cloud bursting solution, which extends your on-premise workloads to the cloud. The Cloud Bursting Solution dimension is a contract you commit to, billed per unit over your term. The cloudbrustingusage dimension is usage-based, so you pay per unit only as you consume the service. Choose the contract option for a committed arrangement, or the usage-based option to pay as you go. Both bill in units and can be selected based on how predictable your compute demand is.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one billing unit represent for the usage-based and contract options?
Both dimensions bill in units tied to your cloud bursting activity. A unit reflects the compute capacity you extend from on-premise to the cloud during a bursting job. The usage-based option counts units as you consume them, while the contract option commits units over your term.
How does the usage-based option differ mechanically from the contract option?
The cloudbrustingusage option meters units only when you actively burst workloads to the cloud, with no upfront commitment. The Cloud Bursting Solution contract locks in a per-unit rate over your term. Usage-based suits variable, on-demand bursting; the contract suits steady, predictable compute demand.
Am I charged when no workloads are bursting to the cloud?
With the usage-based option, charges apply per unit only while you burst workloads. When resources sit idle, you pay only when active. The vendor notes minimal idle resource costs and a low overhead for its file caching. The contract option bills your committed units regardless of activity.
