ePOA overcomes these challenges. Built on AireBlocks, by Aire Innovate, ePOA digitises the end to end elective pre operative assessment process from surgical consultation through to theatre booking. The platform can replicate any existing workflows, whether paper based or digital, and provides both patient and clinician facing interfaces to streamline communication, reduce administrative effort, and optimise surgical scheduling.
Standalone or integrated, ePOA connects with Patient Administration Systems (PAS) and Electronic Patient or Health Record (EPR, EHR) systems, ensuring a holistic and accurate record of patient information. Optional Smart PreOp AI further enhances the pathway by risk stratifying patients using Primary care and procedure data, providing ASA based cohorting, and predicting 30 day mortality risk to support clinical decision making.
