vFunction lets teams modernize large, existing applications quickly and effectively with AI.
AI coding tools often fall short when working across complex, real world systems. vFunction provides the architecture context and guardrails they need to produce accurate, reliable changes at scale.
It starts by analyzing how your application actually runs in production, not just the code. From there, vFunction helps you define the architecture you want, then equips your AI coding tools with precise context, specs, and prompts to modernize or rewrite your applications.
With vFunction, you can:
Preserve critical business logic
Reduce the risk and complexity of modernization
Unblock development teams and speed up delivery
Cut licensing costs by moving to cloud-native architectures
Reduce costly inefficiencies in AI assisted development
vFunction is a part of the AWS ISV tooling program and fully funded by AWS for qualified customers and system integrators. Reach out to us for more details:
Highlights
Full Stack Windows Modernization: Modernize .NET Framework applications and convert SQL Server databases to PostgreSQL. vFunction gives AI coding tools the context and guardrails they need to modernize large .NET systems with speed, accuracy, and control.
Modernize Large VM Apps to Containers: Move complex Java and .NET applications from VMs to containers faster.
vFunction helps teams transform complex VM-based monoliths into container ready modular systems by powering AI coding tools with the context they need to modernize large existing applications.
Power AI Driven Development for Existing Applications:
Provide context, architecture, and deterministic refactoring skills for AI coding assistants.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Pricing scales by application size, measured in the number of classes in one Java or .NET application. Each contract covers a single application up to a set class count. The tiers run from S at up to 2,000 classes through 3XL at up to 100,000 classes, with mid-range steps at 5,000, 20,000, 30,000, 52,500, and 75,000 classes. You pick the tier that fits your application's size. For applications above 100,000 classes, or when covering multiple applications with custom class counts, you contact vFunction for a quote.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as a class when picking a tier size?
A class is a unit of code in a Java or .NET application. Each tier caps the number of classes covered in one application. You count the classes in your application and choose the tier whose limit matches. The platform analyzes bytecode and runtime behavior to map these classes.
What happens if my application grows past my tier's class limit?
Each contract covers one application up to a fixed class count. If your application exceeds that count, you move to a tier with a higher limit. For applications above 100,000 classes, you contact vFunction for a custom quote covering your class count.
Can one contract cover more than one application?
No. Each tier from S through 3XL covers a single Java or .NET application up to its class limit. To cover multiple applications, or applications with custom class counts, you use the >100,000 option and contact vFunction for a quote.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
