Pricing scales by application size, measured as the number of classes in one Java or .NET application. Each contract covers a single application within a set class limit. The tiers step up from 2,000 classes through 100,000 classes, so you pick the tier that fits your application's size. If your application exceeds 100,000 classes, or you need to cover more applications, you work with vFunction on custom terms. Larger tiers cover applications with more classes, letting you match the contract to the scope of what you plan to modernize.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each tier caps the number of classes in one Java or .NET application. vFunction analyzes your application's bytecode statically and dynamically. It counts the classes that make up your application. You pick the tier whose class limit covers your application's size.
vFunction defines each Java Virtual Machine or common language runtime as one application, with similar code bases counted once. Microservices are not separate applications. There is no limit on users, and pricing does not change by user count. You pay by application and class tier only.
The tiers cover a single Java or .NET application up to 100,000 classes. If your application exceeds that, or you need to cover more applications, you contact vFunction for custom terms. This applies to multi-application scopes and larger class counts beyond the listed tiers.
