Pricing follows a t-shirt sizing model based on how many classes your application contains. You license one Java or .NET application per contract. The sizes range from S at up to 2,000 classes, through M, ML, L, XL, 2XL, and 3XL at up to 100,000 classes. Each larger size covers a higher class count. If your application exceeds 100,000 classes, or you need to cover multiple applications, you contact vFunction for custom terms. You pick the size that matches your application's scale.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one application, and how are classes counted for sizing?
Each Java Virtual Machine or common language runtime counts as one application. Similar code bases count once. Microservices are not counted as separate applications. Your size tier is set by the number of classes in that one application, so you pick the tier that covers your class count.
Does the number of users or developers affect what I pay?
No. The platform sets no limit on users. Architects and developers can all use its insights, recommendations, and automation. Pricing depends only on the application and its class count, not on how many people access the tool.
What happens if my application has more than 100,000 classes or I need multiple applications?
The >100000 tier covers Java or .NET applications with a custom class count. You contact vFunction to arrange terms. For multiple applications, the fair-use policy limits total JVMs or CLRs to no more than ten per business application. Contact vFunction for multi-application coverage.
