SchoolBlocks pricing splits into two setups: a one-site system and a multisite system. Each setup has two separate charges. The startup fee is a one-time cost you pay when your site is first built. The hosting fee is billed yearly to keep your site running and includes web hosting. You pick the setup that matches your needs. The one-site fees cover a single website. The multisite fees apply per site, so costs scale with how many sites your system includes.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What is the difference between the startup fee and the yearly hosting fee?
The startup fee is a one-time charge when your site is first built and set up. The yearly hosting fee is billed each year to keep your site running. It covers web hosting, including automatic installation, caching, offline browsing, and targeted page loads.
How do costs change if my district adds more sites over time?
The multisite fees apply per site. Each added site brings its own one-time startup fee plus a yearly hosting fee. So your total grows with the number of sites in your system. The one-site fees cover only a single website and do not scale this way.
What counts as a separate site for the multisite fees?
Each microsite is a dedicated page or section managed by specific staff, such as a teacher, department, athletic team, or event. Each maintains district branding with its own content management and tools. The multisite fees charge one startup fee and one yearly hosting fee per such site.
